Started by Kerry Fernandez in 2009, 8 Design has expanded in it's repertoire over the years and offers a range of skills and services from corporate or experimental graphic design to bespoke jewellery.

With over 14 years of experience as a graphic designer, Kerry started her career in Advertising but soon got a taste for the rewards in teaching graphic design and digital design software to young adults in further and higher education. She has over 12 years of lecturing in her specialist field at Sheffield Hallam University, Derby University and Chesterfield College, where she is currenly lecturing part time on the OFSTED graded Outstanding Art & Design Foundation course.

Freelance graphic design, surface pattern and illustration projects are ongoing, away from education. Experience includes various corporate design commissions, bespoke digital and illustrations and surface pattern design. Kerry's most recent venture is to extend a love for geometric shape and line into jewellery design. One off bespoke jewellery pieces [pendants, earrings, charms, rings] can be made to order.
